Gardens that get better with age
We look after gardens for the long run. That means healthy soil, plants that suit Peninsula conditions, and planting that brings in birds, bees and beneficial insects.
Garden design and maintenance
Whether you are starting fresh, reworking a tired bed or simply want help keeping on top of things, we start with what is already there: the soil, the light, the wind and the plants that are doing well.
From there we plan planting that suits your site and will settle in rather than struggle. Regular maintenance visits then keep the garden on track through the seasons, with the work matched to what the garden needs at the time.
Pruning and small tree maintenance
Good pruning keeps shrubs and small trees healthy, well shaped and in proportion with the garden around them.
We prune with each plant’s natural form and the right time of year in mind, rather than clipping everything into the same shape. The result looks relaxed and cared for, and the plants are better for it.
Soil health and improving biodiversity
Healthy soil is the foundation of a healthy garden. Soil that is full of life holds water better, feeds plants steadily and needs less propping up over time.
Alongside the soil, we choose plants that give food and shelter to birds, bees and beneficial insects, including plants that are local to the Peninsula. A garden with more life in it is more resilient, and more enjoyable to spend time in.
Lawns
We look after lawns as part of a wider garden service.
